Right, I think part of my fall 72 bias is due to my lack of pigpen enthusiasm and love for really drawn out awesome jams (not to mention the increased length of playin). Someday i will delve into the europe stuff harder. FOr now i will endulge in my fall 72 obsession. like 1972-10-18. UGH! i love it. I also love 1972-10-21 because the playing is excellent and phil is up triple in the mix, make your whole house shake. Or DP 23 other one. God there are so many GD goodies out there.

I think Europe because of my Pig bias! Hahaha, but you can't really go wrong with anything from 72. Enjoy the fall tour I will be into that by mid-summer and jerlouvis has some great suggestions below and check out the responses to Cliff Hucker's post, there are some very talented posters here who have some great insight so check out what they suggest and enjoy your Fall 72 obsession! I checked out a little of Mr. Miller's sbd of 3/31/84, very good 80's minglewood, look forward to givin the whole show a listen!
